Audit:
· The first introduction of FNAC for intraabdominal, retroperitoneal and intrapulmonary masses under ultrasonic guidance in Basrah in 1999, a procedure that didn’t done by any pathologist in Basrah before that time, made the surgeon to change their policy in management of such masses before surgery and avoiding unnecessary surgical intervention if FNAC proved the diagnosis of non-surgical managing disease like lymphoma, Neuroblastoma and advanced liver secondaries.
· Improvement in the diagnosis of dermatological diseases through the first introduction of dermatopathological sessions between pathologists and dermatologists.
