Department of Medicine

 

     

   The Department had been established in the year 1970/1971. The department it aims  that the graduates will be able to diagnose and properly manage  various diseases in the arena of internal medicine with special emphasis on the most common and emergency conditions. This includes general internal medicine, psychiatry and dermatology. The Department is in charge of the theoretical teaching and practical training of the third, fourth, fifth and sixth year medical students.

     The Department is also supervising the training of the Iraqi higher commission cacdidates in the fields on internal medicine and dermatology.
