Department of Pathology

 

 

 

     

    The department has been established in the year 1969. It aims to teaching and train third year medical students the  histological and functional changes the occur in various body organs affected by pathological processes

    The department also teaches forensic medicine to fourth year medical students aiming  to train the students in handling medico-legal issues such as identifying the cause of death, evaluation of age and other different criminal cases.

    The department also participates in the teaching and training of the student of Iraqi Higher Commission in the field of histopathology.
